Apprenticeships are another route to acquire a formal qualification that will enable you to get jobs pertaining to the qualification. However, unlike university degrees the range of jobs you can apply to; using the apprenticeship qualification; are limited.
The benefit of an apprenticeship is that while you study you will also work and get paid. At the end of your apprenticeship you will not have any debts and will have a job position available straight away for you.
There are four categories of apprenticeships:
- Intermediate (Level 2)
- Advanced (Level 3)
- Higher (Level 4 - 5)
- Degree (Level 6 - 7)
