Nursing apprenticeship does not only apply to hospital nursing, you can apply to become a dental nurse or veterinary nurse. Nursing apprenticeship starts from level 3 and goes up. Nursing apprenticeships provide the perfect opportunity to get hands on experience to figure out the correct path as a nurse. Nursing apprenticeship will involve studying and working at the same time, similar to other apprenticeships. Nursing is very hands on and allows you the chance to put your newly developed skills and knowledge into practice. This means you will be more experienced and developed nurse after you qualify than you would if you attended university.
Level 3: You will need to be at least 16 years old, living in the country and have at least 5 GCSE at grades A*-C (9-4) including math and english.
Level 4/5: You will need to be at least 16 years old, living in the country and have a level 3 qualification in the sector you are applying too or equivalent (i.e. A-levels).
Level 6/7: You will need to be at least 16 years old, living in the country and have a level 4/5 qualification in the sector you are applying too or equivalent (i.e. A-levels, note the grade requirements will be higher than level 4/5 entry).
